Here fishy fishy!

One of the pleasures of fatherhood.
Teaching your lil' dude to fish.
Even if it's in the yard, in the cold, with no bait.
(I think this is Craig's way of convincing me that he needs to buy a boat!)

Peeps

Every single time we went into Tractor Supply, Wyatt wanted "baby chickens!" So Grandma Mary talked to the Daddy, and some arrived on Easter evening. She brought him 16 little yellow, fuzzy peepers.

He holds 'em.
Loves 'em.
Feeds 'em.
Holds 'em.

Here's a little video of the unboxing of the little "peepers."
(I know the quality of the video is the greatest, but it's cute none the less!)
I hope you enjoy!

Easter

The Easter Bunny comes to town, but once a year spreading sugary delights to boys and girls.

Look! Eggs!!

Easter loot from Grandma's house.
Duck lips, everyone should have a pair.

Sunshine and chalk. Who could ask for more. Wyatt and cousin Spencer, drawing on the sidewalks at Grandma Emily's.

Now that all of us are coming down from jelly bean coma, we hope all of you had a wonderful Easter holiday, surrounded by friends and family.

Forgotten wedding pic's

I came across some more of the pictures from the wedding we were in last summer. I thought they were great. And that I would share them.
I'm not sure who's cuter..... the Husband or the Boy!!
"OK mom, I'm done being cute! Let's go play......"

Farm Kid

Not long ago I read an eloquent article that discussed and focused on the loss of the "family farm" in today's "rural America." It made me stop and think about how I grew up as a child and probably more importantly, how I wanted Wyatt to grow up. What values would we instill?
So here are some pictures of how "rural America" looks from his perspective.

Her name was "Henny."

Some how they became buddies. She would let him carry her all over the farm. Who would think that a chicken would be the latest pet.
Jasper doesn't like to share Wyatt with "Henny" but he quickly learns to get over it.

"What?? You mean every 2 1/2 year old boy doesn't have a pet chicken??!!
How can that be mama??"

I know he is hoping for more chicks this year.
We'll see.....

Bark, Bark, Bark

Halloween 2008!Mr Wyatt as a puppy this year. And boy, did he have a ball playing the whole puppy roll.
He thought going from door-to-door to get candy was neat. We had the opportunity to do a little of our Trick-or-Treating with the Boys (Connor, Spencer and Keaton). Halloween 2009 will be an absolute hoot!!
